Warped in DC

Not me, the tour, silly!

Many thanks to my buddy deadendqueen who got me on the guestlist for a free show, went early to Nissan Pavillion yesterday (after WAAAAY too long stuck in traffic on the parking lot called Route 66).... it was hot and crazy Liz insisted on wearing a long sleeved shirt to protect the fresh ink & cursed the sunlight and sweated muchly....

Missed seeing saintangelsin but ran into her sister & her sister's boyfriend and Zora from the Ghosttigers forum who I'd met in Orlando at the Tiger Army show : )

Caught sets by Bleeding Through, Avenged Sevenfold, Circa Survive and My Chemical Romance who I really enjoyed, yeah I know I'll loose any cool points I might possibly have acquired for admitting it but they were fun and "Pedro" (as my friend Kristen in LA calls him) is adorable).

Then crashed in deadendqueen's hot sports car & cranked up the mucho appreciated AC & watched the parking lot activity since she ended up parked between A7X and MCR's tour buses. Pedro & his friends loaded into a golf cart with the big scary guy with the huge piercings & stretchd out earlobes from the 9:30 club and drove away & Synster Gates kept pacing around the car talking on his cell phone. It was silly entertainment!

"Pedro"

Brandon from Bleeding Through -

Circa Survive -

the day's schedule -

just sorta crappy photos due to little smuggled digital and it was waaaay too hot to wait hours ahead in the sun to get a spot on the barrier!

And YAY I have tickets to see Bauhaus in NYC on Sat Nov 12!! I checked Ticketmaster's site & they were running a fan club presale thingie.... the pre sale password was an easy guess - "bela"

RIP Matthew McGrory who played "Tiny" in House of a Thousand Corpses & the Devil's Rejects and Karl the Giant in Big Fish - so sad to hear as he was only 32!! : (
