the happiest place on earth!

Continuing with my trip adventures... Last Friday in between concerts, Jen and I decided to go to Disneyland for the day as the weather was gorgeous, about 80 degrees and breezy :) Turned out to be a great day to go as it wasn't very crowded so we were able to go on a lot more rides than last time including the Matterhorn, Finding Nemo Sub, saw Captain EO, the Indiana Jones ride, the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Carribean, the little train that goes aroun dthe park & the Jungle cruise. Also enjoyed a yummy pineapple float complete with a cherry & a little paper umbrella outside the Enchanted Tiki room & some decent kebobs.

Splurged shopping at my favorite gift shop there that is always jammed packed with Nightmare Before Christmas stuff & got some cool SHAG goodies :)

I posted a bunch more pix on my Flickr -

From the Finding Nemo sub ride -

The Haunted Mansion - this was a minor letdown since the last two times I'd been there it was right before Halloween and it was spectacularly decorated ala "Nightmare Before Christmas", but still cool -

I love the pet cemetary

Jungle Cruise

Tinkerbelle's castle

Tom Sawyer's Mississippi boat ride

Outside my favorite gift shoppe - "Pieces of Eight"

inside (lots of Alice in Wonderland stuff now too, I think Tim Burton is their patron saint)

Some goodies I picked up, these were done last year by the artist SHAG (Josh Agle) for the 40th Anniversary of the Haunted Mansion & I was really happy to find them as they go for tons more on ebay!

Limited charm bracelet (matches the Nightmare before Christmas one I got there a couple of years ago)

Postcard set of Shag paintings in tin box -
